StampDesign4U was our first ever ecommerce website, way back in 2008. In those days we coded everything by hand, had a nifty Flash stamp designer and nobody had an iPhone or iPad. Now mobiles are really, really, important, Flash is pretty much dead and our ecommerce sites use the power of Magento.
During all this StampDesign4U has grown and grown. Using their website, eBay and Amazon they’ve gone from a home office to their own unit. It was time to bring the website up to speed!
Magento now takes care of the products and categories. This gives them complete control over the entire store. We took ideas from DIY Kitchens kitchen unit order system to make the stamp designer as easy to use as possible. Meaning with some button presses the customer can easily tell the SD4U artworker how they want their stamp.
Integrating Feefo takes care of reviews and product ratings. Orders are automatically (and securely) uploaded to the Feefo system and Feefo send out emails to customers. They rate the service they’ve received and the quality of the product. We are then able to show this rating and the reviews on the website and product pages. Rich snippets also mean we can use the ratings in Adwords and Google Shopping.
We also gave the website a complete design overhaul using bold colours and big product images with sample imprints, so customers can easily see the type of product they’re after.
Due to the volume of orders going through all their sales channels we also integrated Zenstores. This pulls all the orders into one place and links up with the Royal Mail to produce delivery notes, shipping labels and job sheets.
The new site went live a few days ago, but we’re already planning expanding the product range and Google Adwords and Shopping.
