There’s no better feeling than walking into a client’s office and being told they have so many enquiries they’re having to hire additional staff! Since the summer of 2015 Tornado took over the website and Google Adwords for Budget Cases and it’s been an amazing success.
The original site had been around for many years and was starting to look a bit tired, it wasn’t mobile optimised and was on an old CMS platform that was becoming vulnerable to website hackers. They where managing their own Google account and weren’t getting the results they hoped for, spending a lot of money for little or no return each month.
We started with a website redesign, taking the existing content and rewriting it with a professional copywriter. Our design team then made mockups and we presented It was then put into a brand new, mobile friendly, WordPress website. We knew the next phase would be Google Adwords so we designed landing pages (pages we would send the adverts to) designed to convert visitors by giving them the information they need and an easy way to contact Budget Cases.
The SEO team then took over, doing keyword research, designing adverts and setting up tests so we can make subtle changes and see how they increase clicks and conversions. We report each month on the progress and look at the enquiries we’re generating to make sure we’re sending them the right type of leads.
They’re quite pleased with the results. From the same budget as they had when managing their own account, we’ve increased the number of people clicking on their adverts from 0.6% to 9%, increased the conversion rate from 0% to 5% and given them a return on investment (ROI) of 230%. During the keyword research we where able to identify a potential new product line, which is proving very successful.
It’s not stopping there however, each week we’re continually tuning the website and adverts until it’s a lead generating machine and even then we won’t be happy!
